1. Service Overview & Critical Disclaimer
ImgGeo provides AI-assisted location analysis based on images. Outputs are informational only and generated by AI, which may produce hallucinations or errors.
Strictly Prohibited Uses: You must NOT use this service for navigation, emergency response, law enforcement evidence, or any situation where inaccuracy could lead to bodily harm, death, or property damage.
2. Acceptable Use & Anti-Doxing
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abuse. Violations result in immediate account termination without refund.
- DOXING FORBIDDEN: Do not use to locate non-public individuals against their will.
- No harassment, stalking, intimidation, or illegal surveillance.
- Do not upload content involving child exploitation (CSAM) or extreme violence.
- You must have the rights to use the images you upload.
3. User Content & Copyright
You retain ownership of your content. You grant ImgGeo a limited license to process your content to provide the service. If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, please contact support for immediate removal.
4. Age Restrictions
The service is not intended for users under 13. Users under 18 may use the service only with parental supervision. The guardian is responsible for the minor’s actions.
5. Subscriptions & Refunds
Paid plans grant access to computational resources ("Tokens"). Digital services are generally non-refundable. Specifically, once Tokens or credits have been used/consumed, no refunds will be issued for that billing cycle.
6. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. ImgGeo is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on its outputs, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ImgGeo, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
8. Privacy Policy
We collect email, usage logs, and uploaded images. We use this data to provide and secure the service. We do not sell personal user data to advertisers.
AI Processing: Your images and queries are processed by third-party AI providers (e.g., Google, OpenAI) solely to generate analysis results.
Metadata (EXIF): Image metadata (GPS, Time) may be processed to enhance analysis accuracy but is not publicly exposed.
Data Retention: We store data as long as necessary for service delivery and compliance. You may request account deletion at any time.
9. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies solely for authentication and essential site functionality. By using the site, you consent to these essential cookies. We may use anonymous analytics to improve performance.
10. Changes & Termination
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if you violate these terms.
11. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
